'huilende mieren bijten niet'

Inspired by the space of pictura, I created a crawly experience. Tons of ants crawl and fly to one point in the room: a tiny door in the midst of a huge wall, where their sweet treasure lies. Small tears fall drop from the eyes of these tiny ants, but why do these tiny ants cry? And what evolved from these tears?

For two weeks together with artists Lotte Koppens, Sarah Dietz, Christos Mavrodis and Martina González, we got the opportunity to transform the inside of Pictura Dordrecht into our experimental workspaces.
