Sterren op het doek

In 'Sterren op het doek', a program on the Dutch television, three artists are asked to paint a well known Dutch person. In the end of the episode one of the portraits is taken home by this person and the other two are auctioned and the money goes to a charity.

Last January I was asked to participate in this program. This ofcourse was a huge chance for me as an artist so I happily said yes. Together with fellow artists Dirk Bal and Anne-Rixt Kuik we had the honor to meet and paint Dieuwertje Blok. Overall this was a once in a lifetime experience so I'm so happy I said yes and got to meet new amazing artist and people.
